we've loved our play house for almost three years, and finally asked a friend to take a few pictures this past weekend. it's perfectly-sized for kids and adults (yes, my 6ft. tall husband can stand up inside!), and it was surprisingly inexpensive to complete as we finished our basement.
this little house is katelyn and jack's favorite room in the house. they love cooking at the kitchen, and serving their yummy creations through the window. it's also become a pizza parlor, doctor's office, baby's nursery, and a reading nook. if we ever move from this house, i guarantee there will be many tears - from all of us - when we say goodbye to this space.
i admit i still have grand plans to decorate the inside, and hope to work on it next winter. huge thanks to todd seiler and his team for collaborating on the design and execution of this super fun project!
